Alfred Caffiero has dedicated his life to research, treatment,
education and advocacy within the field of physical therapy. Thousands
in the Western
New York community have felt the presence of this man in his touch as
a healer, his zest as a teacher, his humor as a friend, and his compassion
as a person. The Alfred T. Caffiero Golf Classic bestows honor wile establishing
a legacy for years to come. A scholarship from the University at Buffalo
will be given annually to a student who has demonstrated academic excellence,
public service, and promise in the field of physical therapy.

The ATC Golf Classic is an annual tournament held at the Lancaster Country club in Western New York. Proceeds fund a permanent scholarship in Alfred's name and ALS research through the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
